Upcoming Events
Announcements for the upcoming week:
- Resurrection Sunday Services as follows: 6am Sunrise Service. Light breakfast afterwards in fellowship hall. 8am Service, 9:45am Sunday School 11am Service and No 6pm service
- Sunday school department has a meeting Tuesday, April 7th at 6pm in the portables.
- Attn Westside Members: If you're a graduating High School Senior in the class of 2026, and would like to be recognized during High School Senior Weekend 2026, please get in touch with Shantara Talley at 254-338-9992. Deadline: Sunday, April 19, 2026.
- This month, on March 29th, is our next 5th Sunday combined service! 5th Sunday service times are as follows: 10am and 6pm with Sunday School at 8:45am. Please wear your red “I Love My Church” T-shirts. We have some on sale for $10 in the front office.
- March 8th – March 14th is the Annie Armstrong Easter offering, but we collect for the whole month of March.
- Attention all men of Westside: it is time to start making plans for our Annual Men’s Retreat during the period of May 14th thru the 16th at Highland Lakes. A sign-up roster will be posted in the foyer. This year’s theme is “The Man I Want to Be”. If you have any questions, please see Bro Otha Cook.
- On Saturday, March 28th, Westside will host a free Wellness Fair from 10am to 4pm. We will have mental health support, diabetes awareness, nutrition education, a Zumba class for all ages, and much more. If you have any questions, please see Sis Talley.
- The widows and widower brunch will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 10am at the Golden Corral. A sign-up sheet is available in the foyer. If you have any questions, please see Deacon Barrett.
- A change has been made to our teams. We now have four deacon teams (A-D). If you were previously on team E or F, please see the poster in the foyer for your new team assignments.
- The Westside Men are celebrating 31 years in Music Ministry, and you’re invited to be a part of this powerful anniversary celebration! Join us Saturday, April 11 at 4:00 PM at Westside Baptist Church for an unforgettable musical experience featuring: Psalmist Truenice, Unity Male Chorus, Bibleway Missionary Baptist Church Male Chorus, and many more! This event is FREE to the public, and food trucks will be on the church grounds throughout the service—so bring the whole family! Then come back on Sunday, April 12 at 4:00 PM for our Cumulative Closing Anniversary Service featuring special guest speaker Dr. Shaun L. - Are you fun loving, out-going, energetic and mission minded? Do you want to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and have a great time doing it? If this sounds like you (or someone you know) we are looking for FOUR young people to spend the summer doing missions right here in our area. Please contact the office if you are interested.
- Announcements from our neighboring churches will now be located on the bulletin board in the foyer.
- We have some We Love Our Church Red T-shirts available for $10.00. If you are interested, please see Sis Kerra.
- The Evangelism Team needs your help! They are requesting one member from each Auxiliary to join their team! They are also looking for men join. If you are interested, please see Reverend Dr. Rosebur.
- The van ministry is looking for drivers to help with Sunday School, and Wednesday Bible Study pickup. Drivers must be responsible drivers with a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Please see Deacon Barrett if you are interested.
- We’ve created a Westside Job/Skillset Directory to help our members who may need said services. Anyone who is interested in signing up for our Westside Job/Skillset directory or in need of more information or guidance, please text Brother Booker (512) 960-7423. The directory is located in the foyer
- All announcements and cards are due by noon each Wednesday. Your announcement and cards MUST be turned into the office for approval.
Things to remember:
- Our Westside food pantry is now open every 3rd Wednesday from 11am to 1pm.
- Free bread pantry is every Friday from 10am to 1pm in the Fellowship Hall.
- Anyone interested in helping at the Killeen Food Bank, please meet here every 2nd Saturday at 8am.
- Youth Announcements can be emailed to: westsideyouth1@yahoo.com
- Ministers’ Wives will meet on the 3rd Saturday at 10am. Please contact Sis Jones for the location at 254-449-0505.
- The Children’s Church and the Westside Angels Children Church is held every 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays.
- New members class is located in portable 3E every Sunday at 9:45am.

Sacrificial Prayer
Our sacrificial prayer gatherings are moments of deep devotion and intercession. We come together to pray fervently for the sick, the shut-in, and the needs of our beloved community. Embrace the power of collective prayer and join us in seeking God's healing and blessings.
